Avenue World Group (AWG) has become an Independent Company formed by the Merger & Affiliation of several local and international entities, while our main founding company has 30 years in the business, some of our predecessors firms had distinguished histories dating back more than 52 years. AWG is a one-stop solution provider for both B2B and B2C, being the largest service provider in the market, catering to all needs in several business activities. We create travel experiences, and when we say‘create’, we genuinely mean crafting Travel & Tourism unique services and tools from Airline representations, designing holidays, MICE, PR & marketing, cargo, education & skills training to medical facilitation and travel technology solutions.

AWG is mainly registered at the Jordan`s Ministry of Industry & Trade under “Ambara Consultancy & Investment Co.” and other legal bodies depending on the nature of the business activity, hence, the article of association allows the company`s vision to expand to other markets.

Chairman’s Bio

Mr. Wael Nasser Kawar one of the main founders and chairman of Avenue World Group, his new International Affiliates and Partners are each specialized in a specific field of knowledge & expertise and offer consumers innovative ideas and modern technologies in a highly competitive and dynamic markets.

Kawar possesses a strong Business & Leadership record as Manager and has a deep understanding of the consumer and business landscape in Jordan and the region.

In 1991, Mr. Wael N. Kawar joined the family business right after obtaining a Master Degree in Law from the University of London. He brings more than 30 years of experience to the business in Jordan and the region, as he held many senior positions covering various businesses, activities and industries within his large family-owned group.

He is presently the Managing Partner of Jordan`s largest Travel & Tourism Group “Petra Travel & Tourism Co.”, also he seats on many boards either on investments arm of the group or as contribution to public work & society, to mention some, he serves as Board Member of the Aqaba Gulf Hotel, Dead Sea Spa Hotel, Petra Panorama Hotel, Chairman of Amadeus Jordan (J/V), Chairman of Petra Institute an education and learning institute accredited by IATA, Board Member of International Security Company (Securitas).

On the social contributions, Mr. Wael Kawar is a Member of the Board of Trustees at Al Balqa` Applied University – Jordan largest University, also he was the Founder and currently the Board Member of the Jordan Italian Business Council, and Board Member of Al Salt
Association (His Home Town) and member of the Board of Trustees of Al Salt Sport Club.

He also served previously as Board Member of Jordan Radio & Television Corporation, Jordan National Tourism Board & Board Member of Arab Orient Insurance Company in addition to many other associations and CSR groups.

Kawar plays an important role in leading transformation in the Travel, Tourism and other related industries, who, through strength, innovation and foresight induces positive changes in an evolving market and this Joint Venture AWG comes to transform this knowledge, experience and international relations into action.
